From the page: "This is the second article in an introductory series about the Windows Presentation Foundation. In the previous article, we discussed XAML and how it is used in WPF application development. This article shifts focus to WPF's rich support for layout panels, and how they are used in the WPF Horse Race demo application (which is available for download at the top of the first article in this series).
This article is not intended to provide an encyclopedic review of the entire layout system in WPF. The Windows SDK documentation provides ample material on how to use and extend the WPF layout system, so there is no point in repeating it. Instead, we will briefly cover the basics and then examine how the WPF Horse Race application makes use of the two most common layout panels, Grid and StackPanel."

From the page: "It is this thread (title: "one template to rule them all") on the CSS-Discuss List that initiated this article.
The original post included a link to a document that contained a set of images representing different layouts, the question was: "Is it possible to have one HTML file, and style these pages this way only with CSS?"."

As mentioned on the services page, I can create custom templates for your web site. However I also enjoy providing people with free open source templates which they can easily customise and use to create simple web sites. All of my free open source templates adhere to modern web standards and because of this are constructed using purely css and xhtml. They are all valid xhtml 1.0 also, in accordance to the w3c.

Q: Why do I need this site?A: 'Cause you don't want to read CSS books of 500+ pages...
Q: How do I use this site?A: Select a layout and go to "View > View source" to
view the layout's source, then copy-paste the code in notepad and safe
the file as index.html. Study the code and watch the changes when you
change something. (best results with Firefox, download link available
in the webmaster tools section on this site)
Q: Can I use a layout without linking back?A: Yes, you can do whatever you want with the layouts
on this site, without donating, linking back, paying, mailing, posting,
spreading words etc. Though we would be pleased if you did.
